Curated by Hollie Kenniff, “For LA Vol. 2” is a compilation supporting wildfire recovery in LA, and I’m honored to participate as Moskitoo. The album features previously unreleased recordings by Ryuichi Sakamoto, including a live performance from LA, alongside 32 tracks from ambient, electronic, and modern classical composers.
All proceeds—minus a 5% admin fee—will go to LA fire relief efforts.
I’ve learned that Hollie’s benefit compilation began with “For Nihon” in 2011.
I’m grateful to Hollie for inviting me to this meaningful project. It’s an honor to contribute to a cause that connects music with prayers and thoughts for those affected.
Streaming distribution will also start from February 7 via Nettwerk Records.

『For LA Vol. 2』では坂本龍一氏による未発表音源、LAでのパフォーマンスの音源がフィーチャーされており、世界中のアンビエント、エレクトロニック、モダンクラシックの作曲家たちによる未発表音源32曲が収録されています。

5%の管理手数料を除いた収益はすべて「We Are Moving The Needle」と「GiveDirectly」という団体を支援するために寄付され、被災した家族への救済と復興に尽力する最前線の組織の支援に充てらます。

Hollieさんのチャリティアルバムは、2011年の東日本大震災の際に生まれた『For Nihon』から始まったと伺いました。今回、深い意味を持つ企画に微力ながら携わることができることを光栄に思います。

音楽を通して被災した方への祈りをつなぐ輪のひとつになれることに、心から感謝しています。
