Moskitoo通算3枚目のフルアルバム『Unspoken Poetry』が、10月4日、日本のHEADZ/WEATHERレーベルより発売されました。

今作『Unspoken Poetry』は 誰にも読まれず語られなかった詩片や、片隅の在/不在、時間軸の交錯がインスピレーション・ソースとなり制作されています。
これまでの作品同様、Moskitoo自身が作詞作曲を手がけた全11曲を収録。

電子楽器やギター、鉄琴やオルゴール、石や木、非楽器などのサンプリングに加え、動画に残された音やテスト録音の声、偶然のエラーの反復など、意図せず生まれた音も重要な要素となり、朧げで繊細なサウンドが生み出されています。

音の一つひとつを丁寧に重ねては、解体、再構築して音の実体や輪郭を穏やかに変容し、幻想と現実の境界を溶かしてゆきます。

ミックスは前作に引き続き、杉本佳一。マスタリングはTaylor Deupreeが担当。
アートワーク、歌詞カードもMoskitoo自身によるデザインです。

Moskitoo’s third full-length album, “Unspoken Poetry,” is now available from HEADZ/WEATHER in Japan.

Released on October 4th, “Unspoken Poetry” draws inspiration from overlooked fragments of poems, moments of presence and absence, and the interplay of different timelines. Like her previous works, this album includes 11 tracks, all written and composed by Moskitoo.

The sound is created using layers of electronic instruments, guitar, glockenspiel, music boxes, and even non-musical objects like stones and wood. Accidental recordings, such as test vocals or video clips, as well as unexpected errors, contribute to the album’s distinctive atmosphere.

Each sound is thoughtfully layered, deconstructed, and reshaped, subtly altering its texture and outline to reveal new landscapes with quiet elegance.

The album was mixed by Keiichi Sugimoto, who also worked on her previous release, and mastered by Taylor Deupree.

Moskitoo designed the artwork and lyric booklet, adding a visual aspect to the experience.
